The Bay Area was always very supportive of the Black Swans, so I'm excited for my first batch of solo gigs coming up.

May 7th at the Hemlock Tavern, I'll be playing with my old pals, Odawas, and the songwriter Bob Frank, who made a great record for Vanguard in the early 1970s, now reissued by Light in the Attic. Jim Dickinson was a fan, and so am I.

May 9th, I'm skipping over to Berkeley to the  new Octopus Lounge for a songwriter in the round thing-y with Sylvie Simmons (check out her new How Gelb produced album after you finish reading her Leondard Cohen bio) and Colin Gilmore, a Texas troubadour with Lubbock and Flatlander blood.
